About Twin Pines Technologies LLC

Twin Pines Technologies LLC started in September 2002 as a sole proprietorship. Upon moving to the Wayland Area, Fred Grambs noticed that there were no well structured computer service centers in the area and very few computer consultants with corporate IT experience. So, Fred decided to form Twin Pines Technologies to fill that gap. Business has been growing steadily since inception and 2008 was a milestone year for the business in many respects.

Milestones

• September 2002 - Twin Pines Technologies is formed
• January 2004 - Twin Pines Technologies secures 10th small business support contract
• November 2005 - Twin Pines Technologies achieves the Microsoft Small business Specialist designation. The 5th company in New York State to achieve this status
• April 2006 - Twin Pines Technologies approved to offer Microsoft Financing options to businesses
• January 2007 - Due to continuing success, the company is converted to an LLC as Twin Pines Technologies LLC
• April 2008 - Twin Pines Technologies LLC opens its first public office location on Route 63 in Wayland.
• November 2008 - Due to a phenomenal 40% growth rate, Twin Pines Technologies LLC outgrew its first location and purchased the current building at 11461 Route 21. By owning the building, the company was able to design the service center for maximum usefulness, as well as secure other revenue streams through leases.
• May 2010 - Twin Pines Technologies LLC is accepted into the Lenovo Business Partner Program. This program offers many benefits to our business customers.

About Frederick Grambs III

Fred has over 10 years of corporate IT experience. He got his start in IT working on the network support team for a large dot-com, where he progressed to Senior Network Engineer and worked closely with both Windows and Unix environments. He then went on to become a Senior Software Support Engineer at a Document Imaging and Workflow Software company, where he is part of a team supporting over 2,000 corporate clients including several Fortune 100 companies.

Fred is an active volunteer EMT and currently holds the title of Ambulance Captain for the Wayland Fire Department.

He also serves on the board of directors for Wayland Area Revitalization, Inc, a 501c3 LDC.
